Fingering a hand can play
Every note can sit on several strings. TabCraft works out positions across the whole piece that keep your hand moving as little as possible, avoids wide stretches, and prefers the chord shapes guitarists actually use.
Compose on a music staff, or import a MIDI or MusicXML file, and TabCraft turns it into guitar tab, choosing a fingering a real hand can manage, then plays it back on a real guitar sound.
Free, in your browser. Nothing to install.
Pachelbel's Canon in D, played in TabCraft: the tab follows along as it plays.
Every note can sit on several strings. TabCraft works out positions across the whole piece that keep your hand moving as little as possible, avoids wide stretches, and prefers the chord shapes guitarists actually use.
It names each bar's chord, and can add an arpeggiated accompaniment underneath your melody, rolled, strummed, or Travis-picked.
Playback uses recorded nylon, steel-string, jazz and electric guitars, through reverb, room, echo and EQ effects, with the tab scrolling to keep up.
Import MIDI or MusicXML; export tab as text, AlphaTeX, Guitar Pro, MusicXML or MIDI, and print it. Any tuning from standard to DADGAD, with a capo.
